Obituary For Ralph Esposito

Ralph Esposito, born in a small town in Italy, immigrated to America with his family as a teenager. Here he would meet Anna, who would soon become his wife and later mother of their children. Together they built a life, a home, a family, and for a time shared careers while Ralph also owned and operated a series of Vehicular Mechanics Shops over the years.

In the personal sphere, Ralph took great pride in and care of his fruit and vegetable garden in his backyard, tending to the ever-delicate fig trees, as well as apricots, peaches, apples, grapes, and tomatoes, amongst numerous others. Cooking and baking were other household activities that he took pride and joy in. Inventing new recipes and baking home-made pizza from scratch were lifelong hobbies. Recreationally he enjoyed trips to Atlantic City with his wife, until her untimely death in 2015.

Renowned for his 4th of July barbecues, Ralph was a jovial, kind, and tremendously generous man that always put forth extra effort to make everyone feel at home in his home and part of the family with his family, especially on holidays. He enjoyed watching documentaries to expand his knowledge of the fields which he was passionate about, naming a few only: history, physics, mechanics, cooking, baking, gardening.

Despite being born in another country, Ralph was a proud naturalized American citizen, and despite not attending services as frequently as he desired, he was very devout in his faith as a Catholic and practiced at home; he and his wife instilled the core tenets in their children while raising them, and this is well evidenced even in their grandchildren.

Ralph passed away on July 19, 2023 surrounded by his children, grandson, and a select few close family friends. He is survived by his three children with his wife Anna; Daniel, Susie, and Margherita, as well as his grandchildren.

Arrangements will be this Monday July 31st 6-9pm. Tuesday morning viewing 9:45am followed by mass at St. Anns church 11am. Hope to see you all there and thank you for all the support during this time.
