Obituary

Patricia Elizabeth Tuzzi was born Patricia Kenny on December 8th, 1945. Her sudden passing on September 25th, has been devastating to her family and all who were blessed to have known her.

Patricia was born in Brooklyn, New York to parents Matthew Kenny and Agnes McDermott Kenny, an Irish immigrant who came through Ellis Island.

Patricia was married for 52 years to her husband, Louis Tuzzi. Her passing left her one day shy of her 53rd wedding anniversary on September 26th.

Patricia worked for the FBI after High School, for a time as a secretary to Mario M. Cuomo Esq., and the Richmond County Court System in Civil and Supreme courts. Although she had many professional accomplishments, there was nothing she was more proud of than her three daughters, Nancy, Monica, and Suzanne. Her children can attest “she had the patience of a saint.” There is not a soul in the world that did not love Patricia.

Patricia is predeceased by her parents Matthew & Agnes Kenny and brother, Mathew Kenny. She leaves behind her loving husband, Louis, her three daughters, a son in law Christopher, and six grandchildren, who she loved with all her heart, Caitlyn Paige, Emma Grace, Ava Therese, Joseph Louis, Sophia Madeline, and Jonathan Nicholas.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 27th at Hanley Funeral Home 60 New Dorp Lane Staten Island, NY 10306. The funeral Mass will be held Thursday, September 28th at St Ann RC Church 101 Cromwell Avenue Staten Island, NY 10304.
