In Loving Memory of Barbara R. Maloney (January 26, 1953 – January 15, 2024)

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Barbara R. Maloney, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother on January 15, 2024 at the age of 70.

Barbara was born on January 26, 1953 in Brooklyn, New York, and lived a life rich in love and dedication to her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 51 years, Timothy, her four loving daughters: Julie and her husband Dave, Barbara, Christine, and Kathleen, as well as eight treasured grandchildren, who affectionately called her “Nan.”

She dedicated her life to the wellbeing and happiness of her children and grandchildren, always prioritizing their needs with unconditional love and boundless strength. Her grandchildren were the light of her life, and she devoted countless hours to their care and happiness.

Barbara’s legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew her and in the values she instilled in her family. She will be profoundly missed but forever remembered.

The Maloney family extends their heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love and support during this time.

Viewing of cremains at the (Hanley Funeral Home, 60 New Dorp Lane, Staten Island) Wednesday January :24TH, 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Service will be held at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
