Obituary For Antoinette Taubman
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Antoinette Taubman, on September 7th ,2023.
Antoinette was born on August 17, 1937, she was the oldest of five siblings. Her educational journey started at Our Lady Queen Of Peace, and her dedication and academic excellence were evident from an early age. As a result of her remarkable achievements, she was awarded a full scholarship to attend St. Louis Academy High School.
After graduating one year early from high school, Antoinette pursued her degree in nursing from Bellevue . It was during her time at Bellevue school of nursing, that she met Robert Taubman, who would later become her husband in 1959.
Antoinette was predeceased by several family members, including her husband Robert and son Robert, parents Ralph and Alice, brother Thomas Molinari, and sister Margie Freeo. She is survived by her sister Alice and brother Ralph. Antoinette also leaves behind a significant legacy through her four children: Mary, Michael, Thomas, and Brian. In addition to her children, Antoinette is survived by eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
She loved helping others and worked as a nurse for over thirty years at Seaview Hospital! Throughout her life, Antoinette was a pillar of strength for her family and a source of comfort for her friends. Antoinette’s warmth and generosity knew no bounds, and her memory will forever remain a source of inspiration to all who knew her.
Services to honor her memory will be held at Hanley Funeral Home on Monday, September 11th, 2023 with visitation hours from 2-4 PM and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, Sept 12, 2023 at 11 AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace R.C. Church. Interment will follow in Moravian Cemetery.
