Ann was born in Brooklyn, New York to the late Edward, and Tessie (Concilio). Ann’s brother Joseph predeceased her in 2020. Ann attended Shallow junior high school (Brooklyn, NY) where she met the love of her life, Joseph who were both 14 years old when they fell in love. They both graduated in 1962 and were married in 1966.

Once Ann & Joseph started their family, Ann devoted her time in raising her 2 children, until later on returning to work in the travel industry. Traveling was one of Ann’s passions. She loved traveling the world, seeing new places and learning about each place. Ann loved animals, flowers and decorating her home. ( she loved to buy furniture, especially unique pieces). Her favorite holiday was Christmas where she took pride in decorating her home both inside and out.

Her trademarks were eternal optimism, huge heart, loving, and was extremely generous.

Ann loved her family more than anything, always putting them before her. She doted on her late husband Joseph, her 2 children, and 4 grandchildren with all of her heart !

Ann is survived by her children Gina Solheim and son in law George E. Solheim 3rd. A son Arthur Mogavero and daughter in law Suzanne Mogavero. Four grandchildren; Jake, Nicholas, Taylor, and Samantha. Also her brother in law Achille Mogavero his wife Doreeen, along with their son Robert.

I had the pleasure of working with Ann in travel. Ann loved to travel and we would constantly check for deals on a weekly basis. Travel plans, lunch and work was our daily routine in that order 😊 Most important Ann had a huge heart and talked about her family. It was like knowing them without meeting them. Learnt a lot from her and will miss her wisdom. We are all blessed being a part of Ann's life. Rest in Peace my friend.

Ann was my best friend from when we were 10 years old we met in the 6th grade. Ann was my Maid of Honor at my wedding, my Son's Godmother but more importantly, my forever friend. We shared our love of shopping, traveling and of course of crazy Christmas Extravaganzas! Rest in peace my Friend! Love you.
