Obituary For Andrew J Toth

Andrew J. Toth (Andy) entered into eternal rest on August 1, 2023 at the age of 86. He was born in Rosebank in 1937 to Eva and Andrew Toth and he had 3 siblings. He was a life-long resident of Staten Island who made his home in New Dorp.
Andy became a New York City Police Officer in 1959 and worked at the 122nd precinct for 20 years. It was during that time that he met the love of his life, Diana, whom he was married to for 52 years and raised 2 children. He then worked another 20 years for Cravath, Swaine and Moore as a payroll accountant.

Everyone who knew Andy loved him because he was positive and optimistic. He always had a kind word, good advice and was a great listener. He loved a good party with singing and dancing to Italian music among family and friends while enjoying a good rusty nail. He was famous for his motto "Go with the flow", which he truly embraced towards the end of his life. Andy will be missed by all who knew him. May his memory be with us forever.

Andy was predeceased by his wife Diana who passed away in November of 2017. He is survived by his devoted daughter her Debbi Taluba and husband Garry, his loving son Andrew and partner Gina Kuylen and 3 beautiful grandchildren, Jonathan, Amanda and Danielle. He also is survived by his 3 siblings Anna Marinello, Tony Toth (wife Shelley), Rosemarie McIntosh (husband Dick) along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Thursday August 3rd from 4pm-8pm at Hanley Funeral Home and Mass will be held Friday August 4th, 9:30 am at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
In Lieu of flowers, please kindly donate to the Alzheimers Association. Thank you.
